Digestive Disorders and Fertility

Stephanie Cook Osheim, 36, was told years ago that she might never be able to get pregnant. But the Bossier City, Louisiana, resident is now a happy, stay-at-home mom with a 2-year-old daughter and a brand-new baby, born in August. “All my doctors told me it was unlikely that I’d conceive,” says Osheim, who was first treated for the serious gastrointestinal (GI) disorder Crohn’s disease in 2000.
